Hello!
Larry Greenley has played in bands as a guitarist and drummer for decades. Larry first took a few drum lessons from Dennis Nardone, a top professional drummer on the New York jazz scene in the 1970s, who was taught by Joe Morello, the jazz drumming legend of the Dave Brubeck quartet.
In his first band, Larry was the drummer for First Earth, a rock band at Drexel University.
Later, Larry played guitar for Zenergy for six years, a local Philly area band in the late 90s and early 2000s, and at the height opened up for acts such as Kenn Kweder, and Joseph Parsons.
Soon after, Larry helped form “Research This” a corporate house band in the early 2000s.
Starting in around 2006, Larry began and continues to play with the Trinity Lutheran contemporary praise band now known as New Spirit, in Fairview Village playing guitar and drums.
Larry has played with various artists since then and has performed at several venues in Philly and South Jersey including Boathouse Row, Fairmount Park, South Street, Wildwood and opened up for Tommy Conwell at a “Fight for the Cure” charity event to fight cancer in South Jersey.
